Jonathon “Jon” Mason Humphreys went home to the Lord on Oct. 1, 2017.

During his lifetime on Earth, he brought joy to so many people with a heart that was bottomless with generosity and time for family and friends. He was always quick to make someone smile and feel good with either kind words, gestures or actions. He dearly enjoyed cooking and found time to make elaborate meals even after he may have spent all day hard at work. He enjoyed hard work and took deliberate pride in his meticulous attention to detail in so many facets of his life. He would go a mile out of his way just to help someone take a single step forward.

He is survived by and will be dearly missed by his grandparents, Basil Humphreys Jr. and Faith Jensen; son, Collin; father, Joel G. Humphreys; three brothers, Joel J. Humphreys, Jason H. Humphreys (Ashley) and Jackson B. Humphreys; nieces and nephews, Gabriel, Juliet, Tanner and Deegan Humphreys; godmother, Cathy McDowell. Further survived by uncles, aunts, many cousins and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; mother, Jessie V. Humphreys; and godfather, Tom McDowell.

Please join in the celebration of life at the XS night club, 1106 Main St., Green Bay, from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, hosted by Cori Harris and four others. Eulogy and prayers by the Rev. Leanne Hansen.
