Proceedings of Nov. 9

Roger J. Weber, 54, Oshkosh, pleaded not guilty to strangulation-suffocation and misdemeanor disorderly conduct in connection with an alleged June 25 incident. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for Dec. 14.

A Dec. 7 plea hearing was scheduled for Jim K. Xiong, 22, Schofield, on charges of possession of THC with intent to deliver, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 6, 2016, and bail jumping for failing to appear in court June 8.

Salvador M. Ortiz. 24, Oconto Falls, pleaded not guilty to possession of methamphetamine and possession of the paraphernalia to manufacture, compound, convert, produce or store meth, as well as misdemeanor counts of possession of THC and drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 22, as well as felony bail jumping and misdemeanor possession of amphetamine, drug paraphernalia and THC after being arrested again Sept. 13. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for Dec. 14.

A Nov. 28 plea and sentencing hearing was scheduled for Dylan A. Hrabik, 17, Wausau, on a charge of child abuse with the intent to cause harm and aggravated battery, along with a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that occurred July 2.

A Jan. 19 preliminary hearing was scheduled for Daniel Ray Greatens, 33, Howard, who is charged with a fourth offense of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated in connection with his arrest after a crash Sept. 10.

John J. Meng, 48, Oconto Falls, pleaded not guilty a charge of strangulation and suffocation, along with a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Oct. 7. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for Dec. 14.

A Nov. 20 preliminary hearing was scheduled for Jeffrey S. Wenzel Jr., 18, Oconto, who faces a felony charge of driving or operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent and a misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an alleged Aug. 28 incident, as well as bail jumping for failure to appear for a court hearing Sept. 14.

Kenneth R. Paulson, 56, Gillett, stood mute, and Judge Michael T. Judge entered a not guilty plea of his behalf to a charge of manufacturing THC with intent to deliver, in connection with a search of his house Aug. 18 that allegedly yielded two marijuana plants growing in an indoor greenhouse and seizure of 15.7 grams of marijuana. He also faces misdemeanor charges of possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for Jan. 11.

Proceedings of Nov. 8

An arrest warrant was issued for Steven M. Francois, 34, Oconto, after he was charged with failure to report to the county jail. He had been ordered to report Oct. 16 to serve a 15-day jail term after being convicted of discharging a firearm within 100 yards of a building, a misdemeanor.

David M. Dolecki, 45, Wausaukee, was charged with felony theft in a business setting and ordered to make an initial appearance Dec. 14 in Oconto County Circuit Court.

Leroy F. Beechy, 46, Marion, stood mute, so Judge Jay N. Conley entered a not guilty plea on his behalf on a charge of theft of more than $10,000 in a business setting, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 17, 2015. A jury trial was scheduled for March 22-23.

Gregory S. Graham, 50, Lena, pleaded not guilty to a charge of child abuse-recklessly causing harm in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 30. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for Dec. 14.

Proceedings of Nov. 7

Bond was set at $1,000 cash for Kayla P. Delmarcelle, 30, Suring, who is charged with felony possession of THC (second or subsequent offense) and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 15. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Nov. 20.

Proceedings of Nov. 6

Rick C. Longsine, 55, Lena, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fourth offense), in connection with a crash that occurred Nov. 6. Bond was set at $2,500 cash, and the balance of his initial appearance was scheduled for Dec. 14.

Jonathan F. Uqualla, 36, Crandon, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (third offense), fleeing an officer and operating with a revoked license, in connection with an incident that occurred Nov. 5. Bond was set at $5,000 cash, and the balance of his initial appearance was scheduled for Dec. 14.

Proceedings of Oct. 24

Daniel W. Perkins, 48, Crivitz, pleaded no contest and entered into a two-year deferred prosecution agreement on a charge of strangulation and suffocation, and was placed on two years of probation for misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 8. The more serious charge could be dismissed if he successfully completes the terms of probation, which include maintaining absolute sobriety and not residing or doing business with the victims without Department of Corrections’ approval. He was given a jail sentence of 69 days, the amount he has already served.
