Lyle E. LeTendre, 66, of Oconto Falls, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, Dec. 18, 2017. Lyle was born May 1, 1951, in Oconto to Lyle and Betty (Goodman) LeTendre. He graduated from Oconto High School in 1969. He went on to attend UW-Madison and graduated in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy. He had a long career as a pharmacist in the Oconto and Oconto Falls area. He was an avid collector of rocks, antiques, coins and Packers memorabilia. He loved the outdoors: hunting, fishing and skiing. Lyle truly enjoyed vacationing in the Hayward area for the last 30 years. He was a big contributor to the community both with his time and finances. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Oconto Falls, and the Knights of Columbus.

Lyle is survived by his mother, Betty LeTendre, Oconto; two sisters, Carole (Bob) Brown, Minnesota; Babette (Larry) Grady, Little Chute; nieces and nephews, Brandon (Evelyn) Grady, Karrie Grady and Jordan (Richelle) Grady; and his chocolate lab, loyal companion, “Jake”. He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Sr.

There was a Knights of Columbus Msgr. Looze Council 4869 service at Holy Trinity Parish, Oconto, on Friday, Dec. 22, 2017, at 9 a.m., followed by the visitation until 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Joel Sember officiating.
