She was a past church clerk and Sunday school teacher and also hosted many visiting clergy and guests of the church over the years. Erma loved fishing, especially along the banks of the Oconto River that ran through her property, as well as canning vegetables that she grew each year. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother and will be sadly missed.

She also leaves 17 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. Erma is further survived by other relatives and friends.
