Arlan J. Tetzlaff, 87, of Mountain, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018, with his family by his side. Arlie was born on March 18, 1931, to the late Emil and Pauline (Kirsch) Tetzlaff in the Town of Bagley. On Sept. 1, 1951, Arlie married Donna Suring in Milwaukee. For many years, Arlie was a self-employed bricklayer and home builder. In retirement, Arlie and his wife operated a portable sawmill. Arlie was the last surviving member of a family of 11 brothers and two sisters. Arlie was a member of Tabor Lutheran Church in Mountain.
Arlie is survived by Donna, his wife of 66 years; three children, Dale (Deb) Tetzlaff, Sandy (Cliff) Hammond, and Clyde (Wanda) Tetzlaff; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five sisters-in-law. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 11 brothers; two sisters.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Tabor Lutheran Church in Mountain from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at noon with Pastor Paul Scheunemann officiating.
