Dale G. Kruschke, 69, of Gillett, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018. Dale was born on Jan. 9, 1949, to the late Lloyd and Audrey (Frank) Kruschke. He graduated from Gillett High School with the Class of 1967. For many years, Dale worked as an over-the-road truck driver, in home construction, and at Warvel Products. Dale served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed woodworking, model building, playing horseshoes, playing softball, pontooning and spending time at Berry Lake.
Dale is survived by his daughter, Tonia Kruschke; son, Jason (Sara) Kruschke; three grandchildren, James, Gwen and Kate; six siblings, Flora (Lee) Bottensek, Pete (Lorraine) Kruschke, Doug (Joyce) Kruschke, Beverly Wranosky, Joann Montie and Wayne Kruschke. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three siblings, Dennis Kruschke, Betty Blumreich and Karen Schemenauer.
A private memorial service for immediate family will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Berry Lake. A public memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Spirits of Gillett, 145 N. McKenzie St., Gillett, WI 54124 at 1 p.m. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be expressed at www.gruetzmacherfuneralhome.com.
The family would like to thank the staffs of Heartland Hospice, Woodland Village Nursing Home in Gillett, Lakeland Care and REM Wisconsin for the compassionate care offered to Dale and his family.
