Ruby C. Jonas, 78, of Fort Atkinson, passed away on Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown with Pastor Steve Steele of Rainbow Hospice officiating. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Ruby Charlotte Jonas was born Oct. 19, 1939, to Charles and Dorothy (née Gleason) Heise in Green Valley. She attended school in Bonduel. On Oct. 19, 1991, she married David Jonas in Waukesha. Ruby loved dogs and especially her schnauzer, Chewy.
Ruby is survived by her husband, David; seven children “from a previous marriage,” James (Karen) Hesprich of Waupun, Kevin (Sue) Hesprich of Seymour, Mark (Jeraldine) Hesprich of Caledonia, Nancy (Kelly) Lanning of Neshkoro, Joe Hesprich of Hartford, Dawn (Eric) Weberg of Jackson, and Nicole Hesprich of Milwaukee; five grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer, Heather, Abigail and Gwendolyn; three sisters, Patricia Heise of Oconto Falls, Mona Juedes of Grafton and Doris (Art) Strebing of Henderson, Nevada; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings.
