Richard A. Baumann, 90, of Watertown, passed away on Nov. 3, 2018, at his home.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown with the Rev. Jeffrey Meyer of Christ United Methodist Church in Watertown officiating. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia. Memorials would be appreciated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Richard Alvin Baumann was born on Dec. 20, 1927, to Alvin and Eunice (Benton) Baumann in Milwaukee. On Sept. 24, 1940, he married Helen Roehl in Lake Mills. Richard worked for Wisconsin Electric for 36 years. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Watertown and the Watertown Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his son Gary Baumann of Watertown; two granddaughters: Jessica (Andrew Athens) Matz and Jayme Mundy, both of Watertown; six great-grandchildren: Ricky Mundy, Jara Mundy, Brandon Miller, Cameron Matz, Shylar Mundy and Ashton Mundy; a brother Donald Baumann of Milwaukee, as well as other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Helen, daughter Gail (Chuck) Mundy, son Ricky Baumann, brother Harvey Baumann and sister Eunice Schlueter.
